Limit-5 saw a void in the market-place for cool clothing in the fishing community. We wanted to step up and fill that void with clothing that reflects a fresh modern design while conveying the message “I Support Fishing”. ”Fishing” as a sport, is far beyond where it was a few years ago in terms of coolness. We have younger Pros, College teams, and people from all walks of life participating in our sport. Everyone that loves what they do wants to represent their passion. We are making that possible through our new clothing and apparel. At Limit-5, we are fisherman. FISHING!!!!! It’s not a hobby. It’s what we do!!!!!
Our goal is to help the sport of fishing from many different venues. We want to give back to the sport by providing sponsorship money for tournaments, providing awareness campaigns that push conservation, and by running clinics that educate our youth. We are involved in the sport through every means available to us. We are a start-up company. Funds are tight for us, however, we still intend to donate a portion of our proceeds to local fishing organizations that need help keeping their club or their tournaments running. We also intend to donate time and money to the Dept. of Game & Inland Fisheries to assist them in education and conservation. We are now sponsoring The Smith Mountain/Kerr Lake Division of The U.S. Angler’s Choice Team Trail Tournaments as well as The Limit-5 Tuesday Night Team Tournament held from April – September on Smith Mountain Lake. We are also active in fishing with and promoting the BASS Federation Nation through Region II here in Southwest Virginia.
